Instructional Strategies (Differential Instruction) Activity :2 This lesson is for a 3rd grade amicable studies class of 15 learners of which 5 scholarly persons argon English is a second language. The activity will facilitate students understanding of innovation of the explorer action and the resulting consequence. The concepts or objectives of the lesson is to have students identify cultures are changed by discovery and exploration. The Activity will be for the students to geminate the explorer with their accomplishments and to make a flash card for severally explorer, which will allow the date of exploration, country of origin, area explored and a fact about that explorer. The guided practice will be students will brainstorm who were these early explorers and the reason for them coming to conjugation America. After brainstorming we will read. The nonsymbiotic practices will be for students to write the explorer mane on the card, draw a picture or issue forth a picture of the explorer off the internet and put on their card.

The students will be in groups of threes, which will include two call upd learner, peerless struggling learner and one English as a second language learner. The advance learner is good at reading, writing, and technology. The struggling learner is a good at writing, art and technology. The second language student is good with technology and art. Whatever the capability of each student in the group they will work together to get the activity done with the help of the two teachers in the classroom.
