mr Hellenic Mythology Term Paper The Iliad, by Homer, tells a snap off of the tale of the conquest of Troy by the Greeks. In the Greek army there are many prominent figures. These of the essence(predicate) Greeks have distinct personalities. This musical theme hopes to demonstrate that certain celebrated Greeks each get some form of comeuppance found on their respective bad character traits and actions. In essence, this paper will show that justice is served against the Greeks for their actions. It seems appropriate to start with the psyche of the Greek army, Agamemnon.

Agamemnon displays great arrogance (hubris, if you will) by forcefully fetching Breseis from Achilleus. This action leads to Achilleus refusing to fight and almost costing the Greeks the war. Eventually, Agamemnon apologizes and Achilleus rejoins the fighting. Yet, even when apologizing Agamemnon refuses to apply any blame for his actions.
