After attending the event, the start-off thing that comes to my mind is Asian Americans should in like manner be more active in social issues and in politics. Unlike the Latinos, most of the Asians are afraid to speak up and stand up for themselves, because they do non wish to farm problems. She told us that her parents do not speaking a lot of English, and they do not know a lot about how school functions. Her story touched me, because right now I?m experiencing the same thing as she does.
