The VJs would record intro and outro segments to music videos, along with music news, interviews, concert dates and promotions. These segments would appear to air live and creation across the MTV program schedule 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, though the segments themselves were pre-taped within a fifty-fifty work week at MTVs studios.
There are three-types of Music Videos: NARRATIVE-BASED VIDEO, PERFORMANCE- BASED VIDEO, CONCEPT-BASED VIDEO.
