In the movie the castle Darryl kerrigan becomes an unlikely heroes as he fights to save his family home from being compulsorily acquired by a large airport authority. He didnt know much closely law and Australia court and justice system but he tried his best to find a lawyer to helper come to the fore with the case. Darryl was an unlikely candidate for the hero status because of his age, educational background, limited connections, ocker individualizedity and class background. However, he had many per boyal qualities that could be considered heroic and many attributed to be admired. One of the strongest arguments for Darryl being a hero is how he overcame the odds and stone-broke stereotypes in his quest to save his home in which he considers his castle. Darryl broke the hero stereotype for a large number of reasons. for the first quantify he was a public Australian who wasnt well know outside of Coolaroo and didnt have the celebrity status. Being a normal/ average person meant that Darryl didnt have a lot of property and couldnt pay for a re solelyy good lawyer. He hadnt through anything that made him well know, so people wouldnt expect him to be a hero and they wouldnt have thought he could win in the courts and get their houses back.



Darryl seemed so determined to get their houses back he was using his own money for the people expenses and he did it all on his own and still managed to have quality time to hang around and spent time with the whole family. His family looked at him as a hero for just being himself, his youngest son especially. His youngest son looked up to him and e rattlingthing he did was amazing in his eyes. Darryl everlastingly put his family first , he also wanted to diaphragm in his house because of the close community and his son who was in jail. He wanted the house to be there when Wayne got out of prison and finished his sentence.
