Whose life is it allway? Composed by Brian Clark is a move around in which main character visual sense Harrison struggles with the issues surrounding euthanasia, as ken tries to fight his rights as a human against doctors and the hospital. Clark successfully casts the characters on both sides of the on going debate, as the doctors wasting disease their power and professionalism to fight against awarenesss desires and dignity. Humorous language, clever metaphors and sexual innuendo allowed Clark to regulate together this play.

An important study in the play is power. It is an ongoing issue throughout the play. The power struggle between Dr Emerson and Ken is a constant issue which Clark has demonstrated well. Ken is impotent against each purpose, his opinion doesnt matter. A perfect spokesperson of this is seen in the valium photograph where Dr Emerson injects Ken against his wishes, I must insist you dont stick that thing in me. Dr Emerson believes his opinion is all that matters. Ken describes the doctors morals as mightiness is right and his statements that theyre (doctors morals) better because youre more decently.

Another important and ongoing theme is professionalism. This is seen throughout the play as the doctors detach themselves from, Ken and channelise no feeling towards his wants and needs. An example of this is seen in the valium scene; Dr Emerson shows no feeling towards Ken and over powers him at any issue. Even though Ken argues against the valium, Dr Emerson takes no interest in his opinion and makes the professional decision to give it to Ken. He raftt know enough to challenge our clinical decision. Dr Emerson belittles Ken and ignores any sign of disagreement or any opinion that fights Dr Emersons opinion. Professionalism is also seen in ________________________
