Group last making is an integral part of our world. We argon community creatures, designed to work in meetings to succeed. In fact, we would not have survived as a species without collaborative effort. Communication is important in group situations, and with effective communication, flexible roles, a willingness to listen, and a good deal of feedback, groups bottom solve complex problems, plan and execute enormous events, plan and manage cities and countries, and keep our world going.
It is my assertion that face-to-face accountability is one of the most important components of group decision making. Without a willingness to hold oneself accountable to his or her own obligations, whether they go from inside (a personal decision) or outside (agreeing to take on a task as part of a group) and then group cohesion and effectiveness cant happen.
