For more than 70 years, the Population Reference Bureau has been informing people almost the population dimensions of important social, economic, and political issues. We provide technical support to U.S. and international organizations to increase their faculty to communicate query results and to increase the use of demographic selective information and research in policymaking.
Conduct training on policy communications and Internet use. Through short-term workshops, PRB helps individuals and organizations in developing countries, especially journalists, educators, and researchers, to find and use demographic data and research in policymaking. Collaborate with journalists to expand the coverage of population, health, and environment subjects. PRB makes research accessible to print and broadcast journalists through our librarys reference services, and through media networks, background publications, news releases, seminars, and press conferences and briefings.
