Midterm Break Commentary

From the first person perspective of a young discipline boy as the protagonist, Seamus Heaney reflects on his own childhood retentiveness in the poem Mid-term exit. The reader discovers through exercise the poem that Heaney returns home for the funeral of his younger brothers elevator car accident.
