Though, slowly small steps were being taken over the years to integrate homosexuals into the military---- including the Dont Ask Dont Tell Policy, these steps were every downright against homosexuals, if not mere compromises rather than a do grant of civilian rights. Although a complete grant of civil rights to homosexuals failed to pass through in the Truman, Reagan, and Clinton presidencies, the time has finally arrived because of chairman Obamas decision to repeal the Dont Ask Dont Tell Policy.
