My thoughts on the nature vs. nurture argument is that God created both nature (genes) and nurture
(environment) and He gives us the ability and the resources to live out our lives, many dresst recognize
that God is there to help them, and that He Loves them, so they continue through life without seeking
Him. It is God who places each of us in our families, gives us our eye colourize, hair color, skin color and
even the geographical location of where we are born, how we use all(a) that has afforded to us is left to
our responsibility (environment). In all that I have read so far Ive non come across anything in this
argument that includes the Spiritual smell of the individual development in their nature or nurture,
they are leaving a big whole of which neither gradient can fill.
26 And he has made from one crease every
nation of men to dwell on all the looking at of the earth, and has determined their reappointed times and the
boundaries of their dwellings, 27 so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for
Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; 28 for in Him we live and move and have our
being, as also some of your own poets have said, For we are also His egress 29 Therefore, since we
are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the inspired Nature is like gold or silver or stone,
something shaped by art and mans devising. Acts 17:26-29, NKJ, John MacArthur;1997.
I believe that the statement made in the text, Genes not only code for particular proteins, they also
respond to environment. Psychology, Meyers; pg 141 In my view point I agree with the Bible in that
God created everyone unique to themselves, Nor is He worshiped with mens hands, as though He
needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. Acts 17:24, NKJ, John MacArthur;
