"If Thou Must Love Me" Poem Analysis

I selected the poem If Thou moldiness Love Me by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, because the title quickly grabbed my attention. I plunge a connoisseurs analysis of the poem in which I very agreed with much of what was said but also found a portion of which I disagreed. This critic contrasted this poem to other famous poem, Let Me Not by William Shakespeare. The critic entangle that both poems were ab pop out make do, but each took a moderately different sketch wind. I agreed that both were about real love with Brownings poem focalization on wishinging someone to love her for the right reasons and non out of feelings of pity nor physical attraction, and Shakespeares on how straightforward love is a permanent feeling and does not breathe with time. I appreciate the critic is accurate in proverb that the poet finds reasons other than pure love as superficial and nonresistant to change further changing the love itself.
The part I did not agree with would have to have been the last excoriate of the critique. The critic stated that This poem shows true insecurity on Elizabeths part, and a possible fear of being loved, or not being worthy of love. I did not weigh that Elizabeth showed any sort of insecurity in her poem, but kinda tried to make her lover understand the way she wanted his love for her to be.

The reader then was capable of understanding the deeper meaning within...If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: Ordercustompaper.com
